When it comes to buying or selling real estate, the last thing you want to be is a customer. By definition, a customer in a Colorado real estate transaction is the person with the least amount of representation... there basically isn't any. Interesting, isn't it?

Customers can turn into clients but a client will never be a customer. That sheds a little light on the way the people who make these rules think. We have had success by taking the time to understand how buyers an sellers think to better accommodate them. I'm not certain that's what's been done with this term.

I do not believe anyone has the intention of harming themselves by agreeing to being a customer for a business. If you've ever met with a Realtor in Colorado you should have gotten a form that explains this, but I'm willing to bet for most of you this is the first time you were made aware of this term meaning what it does when working with Realtors.
